Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 6 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Curedoctor mobile application, the Curedoctor eClinic service and this website (together, the "Services") provided by Curedoctor ("Curedoctor", "we", "us" or "our"). The Curedoctor app is for doctors: it lets registered medical practitioners ("Doctors", "you") consult patients who visit Curedoctor eClinics set up in partner medicine stores.
Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading the app, creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Not for emergencies. Curedoctor eClinics are not an emergency service. If a patient appears to need emergency care, advise them to call the local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
1. About the Services
Curedoctor is a technology platform. We install eClinic software in partner medicine stores, and patients who visit those stores are connected to Doctors who use the Curedoctor app. Through the app you can:
- create and maintain your professional profile;
- set your availability and receive consultation requests from eClinics;
- consult patients through the app;
- issue digital prescriptions and view your consultation history.
Curedoctor itself does not practise medicine. Medical advice, diagnosis and treatment are provided by you as an independent practitioner, and you are solely responsible for the care you give.
2. Eligibility and verification
- You may register only if you are a qualified medical practitioner holding a valid registration with the relevant medical council or authority, and you are legally permitted to practise and to consult patients remotely.
- You agree to provide accurate details of your qualifications, specialty and registration, and to upload the documents we ask for.
- We verify your details before activating your account, and we may decline or re-verify an account at our discretion.
- You must tell us immediately if your registration is suspended, cancelled, restricted or expires. You must not consult through the Services while it is not valid.
3. Your account
- Your account is personal to you. You must not let any other person consult patients or issue prescriptions using your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details and one-time passwords confidential and for all activity on your account.
- Keep your profile information up to date.
- Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
- You may delete your account at any time. See our Delete Account page.
4. Professional responsibilities
- You provide consultations as an independent professional, using your own clinical judgement. You are not an employee or agent of Curedoctor.
- You agree to follow all laws, regulations, telemedicine guidelines and codes of professional ethics that apply to you.
- You decide whether a remote consultation is appropriate. If a patient's condition cannot be properly assessed remotely, advise an in-person examination or referral.
- You must prescribe only what you are permitted to prescribe through a remote consultation, and include the details the law requires on each prescription.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your consultation notes and prescriptions, and for keeping any records the law requires you to keep.
- You are responsible for holding any professional indemnity cover that is required or appropriate for your practice.
5. eClinic consultations
- You receive consultation requests only when you mark yourself available. Please accept only the requests you can attend to promptly.
- Treat patients with courtesy and respect, and complete each consultation you accept unless there is a good reason not to.
- You need a compatible device, a stable internet connection, and camera and microphone access. Consult from a private, quiet place.
- You must not record a consultation without the patient's consent and unless the law permits it.
- We do not guarantee any minimum number of patients or consultations.
6. Partner medicine stores
- Partner medicine stores are independent businesses that host a Curedoctor eClinic. Store staff help register the patient and start the consultation; they do not give medical advice.
- Prescribe according to the patient's medical need only. You must not prescribe in order to promote the sales of any store, brand or product, and you must not accept any incentive from a store for doing so.
- Patients are free to buy prescribed medicines from any pharmacy of their choice.
- eClinic locations, timings and patient volumes vary and may change.
7. Fees and payouts
- The consultation fees payable to you, any service charge retained by Curedoctor and the payout schedule are as communicated to you during onboarding or in the app, and may be updated with notice.
- Payouts are made to the bank account or payout method you provide. You are responsible for giving correct details.
- You are responsible for your own taxes. We may deduct or withhold taxes where the law requires.
- We may withhold or adjust a payout where a consultation is refunded, disputed or found to breach these Terms.
8. Patient confidentiality
- Patient information you receive through the Services is confidential. Use it only to provide care to that patient.
- Do not copy, photograph, download or share patient information outside the Services, except where the law requires.
- Do not contact a patient outside the Services for marketing or any purpose unrelated to their care.
- Tell us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised access to patient information.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- give false or misleading information about your identity, qualifications or registration;
- use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
- harass, abuse or behave inappropriately towards patients, store staff or our team;
- issue prescriptions without a genuine consultation;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or interfere with the app, website or their security features;
- upload viruses or other harmful code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
- use automated tools to collect data from the Services.
10. Upcoming services
We plan to introduce a Curedoctor app for patients, through which patients will be able to book Doctors for online video consultations, offline appointments at the Doctor's clinic and home visits. These services are not yet available. When they are introduced, we will tell you in the app, and any additional terms for them will apply from the time you choose to offer them.
11. Intellectual property
The Curedoctor name, logo, app, website, design, text, graphics and software are owned by or licensed to Curedoctor and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Services in accordance with these Terms. You allow us to display your name, photo and professional details within the Services so that patients and partner stores can identify you.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curedoctor is not liable for the medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or prescriptions you provide, or for the acts or omissions of partner medicine stores or patients.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curedoctor is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of income, arising from your use of the Services.
- You agree to indemnify Curedoctor against claims arising from your professional services or your breach of these Terms.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms, if your registration is no longer valid, if we receive serious complaints about your conduct, or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. Fees properly earned before termination remain payable, and sections that by their nature should continue after termination will continue to apply.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Curedoctor is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved in this way will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of that country.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
